ERIC MATERN
"As a 7-string player, I need strings that can handle the grit and low-end of metal without losing their melodic clarity. After 26 years of playing—from my early days in Brazil to my current work in London—I’ve realized that your gear has to be as hardworking as you are. Whether I’m recording my upcoming EP or performing tracks from Side Quests and Crooked Steps, I need a string that feels natural and sounds massive. The Dragon Skin strings give me that perfect balance of coated durability and the high-output 'snap' I need for my extended-range setups. They are simply the most reliable strings I’ve ever put on my guitar."
