"I always liked the sound of DR strings: consistent, powerful, solid.  For some years, I've used the Dragon Skin model. Always felt it was an amazing option for those who like the sound of new strings, but can't afford to change strings often.  Nowadays, I prefer the feel of nickel strings. Over the years I've realized that when it comes to bass strings, it's not only about tone: it needs to feel good in the hands, you know?  Currently I've been using Pure Blues and Sunbeam strings on my basses and I couldn't be happier."
