BIO
Born at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in northern Colorado, Greg Keenan first picked up a bass guitar at 13. Like many of us, initially he just wanted to jam with his friends and fantasized about playing on stages in far-off places. A lot has happened since that first bass lesson. Greg has performed countless shows on both guitar and bass in a multitude of bands, recorded multiple albums and singles, completed a Bachelor of Science in Music at University of Colorado, Denver, serves as Voting Member of the Recording Academy, and has toured internationally with the OSBDM band, SKINNED. All while making time to always pet nearby kitties and sample the local food and drink. In 2022, he joined the ferocious quartet, HATED. Their brand of extreme metal explores the dark side of mental health through personal and relatable insights into the difficulty of conquering those struggles alone. HATED’s live performances are a high-intensity eruption, catharsis personified, inviting fans to revel in the power of support found in art and community.
