Isma Ciriaco is a Brazilian bassist, music producer, and performer based in Austin, Texas (USA). Recognized for his versatility, expressive groove, and refined musicality, he has built a career that bridges Brazilian rhythms with Jazz, Funk, Gospel, Soul, Latin, and Contemporary Music. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Isma began his musical journey at a young age and quickly established himself as a respected bassist. Throughout his career, he has performed in concerts, festivals, recording sessions, and live productions alongside acclaimed Brazilian and international artists, developing a distinctive style marked by strong groove, technical precision, and musical sensitivity. Now living in the United States, Isma has become an active presence in the Texas music scene, performing regularly with some of Austin’s most respected musicians. His collaborations include Grammy-winning drummer Brannen Temple, renowned saxophonists Michael Malone and Jake Lampe, and celebrated Brazilian pianist Rique Pantoja. These performances have further expanded his artistic vision while strengthening his reputation as a versatile and reliable musician. In addition to his work as a performer, Isma is an accomplished music producer, collaborating on recording projects, live productions, artist development, and educational initiatives. He is also dedicated to promoting Brazilian music and culture in the United States through concerts, workshops, and cultural events.
