John Campbell slugs out those heavy-hitting bass lines for Lamb of God. He’s a founding member of the group, which originally came together under the name Burn the Priest in 1994. One of the pivotal groups of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, Lamb of God combines elements of thrash, groove metal, punk, and death metal. The group has sold nearly 2 million records and has received several Grammy nominations. The band’s latest album, Omens, was released in 2022.
