"I currently use three types of DR Strings. For my electric guitar, I use Hi-Beam (010-046) and DDT (010-046), and for my acoustic guitar, I use Dragon Skin Hard Coated Acoustic (012-054). Since Harry Big Button alternates between standard tuning and Drop D tuning, I’ve always been a bit dissatisfied with the string tension. While increasing the gauge raises the tension, there’s a clear trade-off in tone, so it was a difficult choice to make. Especially since I started using DDT, I no longer have to worry about that. I can achieve the tension and playing feel I want while maintaining my original gauge, and I can preserve the powerful riffs and guitar sound I’m looking for. To me, strings aren’t just consumables for the guitar—they’re a crucial element that puts the finishing touch on the tone before it’s transmitted from the guitar to the amp. DR Strings are the final piece that completes the guitar tone I’m looking for between the guitar and the amp."

Lee Sungsoo is the leader, vocalist, guitarist, and art director of HarryBigButton, one of South Korea’s leading hard rock bands. Since forming HarryBigButton in 2011, the band has established itself as a leading force in Korean hard rock by delivering intense live performances through concerts and tours both domestically and internationally. He previously performed with Crash and sPoON, two of South Korea’s leading heavy metal bands. As both a musician and a graphic designer and art director active in the UK and South Korea, he has built a unique creative realm that bridges music and visual arts. Following his 2023 solo exhibition *I Have a Cat*, he held the 2026 invitational exhibition *My Beautiful Dictator* and published the illustrated essay *I Have a Cat*, continuing his diverse artistic activities beyond music. With a keen interest in performance culture and social issues, he organized the “Save Our Stage” campaign in 2021 to support performance venues facing crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, he co-founded WUMUJI, a live music venue in Hongdae, and has been actively working to revitalize the live music scene. Together with Harry Big Button, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026, she continues to expand her creative horizons, encompassing music, design, visual arts, and performing arts.
